Stoichiometry

My students have just begun their journey through fairly calm well-charted waters.  Smooth sailing ahead as we learn about moles, formulas and formula masses, balancing equations and mass relations in chemical reactions.  A few bumps may arise during titrations or stoichiometry of gases but all will turn out well.  The stoichiometry lab shows students how to determine the amounts of reactants combining in chemical reactions.

Welcome to HL1chemblog!

Higher level chemistry challenges students to think deeply about topics in chemistry such as stoichiometry, the periodic table, energy, equilibrium, electrochemistry, medicines, drugs and the environment.  Students returning from colleges often remark on how much they had learned compared to their classmates.  Thank you for your visits and your kind words.  I wish you all success.
